The Ending

Why does Midna destroy the mirror of twilight?

I know right before she does it she says that while it exists they may meet again or something to that extent, so the implication is she doesnt want to see them again but when she seemed to say it in a positive manner so again, why destroy?

Likewise she bleats on throughout the game that only the true leader of the Twili could destroy the mirror hence Zant could only make it into shards. Was she proving a point be destroying it? I know that there's no definitive answer but any opinions would be welcome

So that nothing like that could ever happen again, duh.

A conscience is what hurts when all your other parts feel so good.

That was the point.. Zelda explains how as long as the mirror existed.. they could always meet again, overlooking the danger in that. Midna catches on and says she's right.. Then shatters the mirror to prevent such a meeting, whether it be good or bad.

Which makes me happy. I didn't really care for the Twilight stuff.

i loved the twilight stuff. probably my second favorite game of the series.

the twilight people were introduced and "lost" in the same game and were never spoken of or seen ever again.

what makes me mad is some people say that the mirror in that game is the same from four swords adventure but thats not true.

four swords adventure is the mirror of the dark world. not the mirror of twilight and when link goes to the dark world through its mirror in four swords adventure he meets dark monsters not twilight people. its just an opposite of the regular world.
