Three thoughts

Was anyone else:

1) Kinda disappointed by Zant once the mask came down? Before then he was incredibly creepy and menacing; I came close to losing bowel control at the part where you get out of the Lakebed Temple and hear about how awful the Fused Shadows can be, only to turn around and find him there. Having him be this shrieking lunatic underneath it all was kinda...anti-climactic almost.

2) Surprised that they made any kind of deal at all out of the Orc leader (don't know what the creatures are actually called) speaking to Link after the final fight? I mean, if the point was that the orc-things are actually sentient and have feelings and such, it kinda takes away from the fun of slaughtering them en masse...or did I miss the point entirely?

3) Put off at first by just how linear TP is to begin with? It got much better by the time the Fused Shadows have been gathered, but for the first dungeon or two I was getting seriously sick of only being able to follow one route, especially with such a huge, well-made world waiting.

EFN. Quiet! You'll miss the humourous conclusion!

Never really thought about those.

BTW, who are you referring to as the Orc creature?

Here are some things that bugged me....

#1: When Hyrule Castle was in Twilight, why didn't Princess Zelda turn into a spirit or anything else?

#2: Why was it that Zant and the Twilight Beasts were able to enter the light world and nothing happens to them? Think about it, when Zant exposed Midna to the light, she nearly died but Zelda gave her something that would allow her to survive in the light world. Did Ganondorf maybe give Zant and the Twilight Beasts a special gift that would allow them to survive in the light world?

#3: What do the Gorons think the humans did that pissed the Gorons off so badly to the point that Gorons called humans enemies?

#4: Why the [beep] did the Castle Town General Store owner charge so much for his stuff? I mean before he was bought out by Malo Mart.

#5: This is a big one and definetely a good question.....Why were all the Hyrulean Soldiers such pansies? Think about it, they wanted to escort Telma, Ilia and the injured Prince Ralis across Hyrule Field but when they heard that there would be beasts, the soldiers ran away like a bunch of wussies. Worst soldiers ever.

1) No, Zant was fine, he was freaking insane, a wack job, utterly crazy etc. Not all bad guys have to be boring Sephiroth clones.

2) Already explained above

3) The game isn't balanced between sidequests and the main story dungeons. There is more dungeons than sidequests this time round, which is why it feels linear. I personally think they should of stuck with more sidequests over dungeons, as this worked well in Majora's Mask. That game felt massive.

Also because I'm bored I'll try and answer the other guys questions:

1) I believe her Triforce of Wisdom prevented her from changing in the Twilight.

2) Remember, Ganondorf gave some of his power to Zant which he obviously used more than his own, therefore it would have protected him from the light.

3) The Gorons are more hostile because of the Fused Shadow piece that infected one of there own kind. I think it was the Gods who shattered the complete Fused Shadow and they must of passed a piece down for the Gorons to protect, having no idea the effect a shard of it would have. Notice that it is not just the humans the Gorons are hostile towards, it is everyone. Later in the game when the Goron's are back to normal, Zora's start to visit the hot spring.

4) Because he just does. This isn't new in Zelda games, there is always someone selling things overpriced (Bomb shop owner from TWW as well)

5) There probably terrified after hearing what happened when nearly every soldier was killed by "beasts" with the capture of Princess Zelda. Not sure about that though.

Edit: Didn't realize how old this post was 0.0 oh well.

I think the deal with the orc guy (if you mean the one that gives you the key and says "i've always been on the winning side") was that I think it was trying to create some kind of pathos seeing as he kidnapped that kid earlier on then you had that fight in the desert, so to see him say "It's just the way I am" was trying to say that he is sentient but didn't choose to be bad, just was and was giving a half-assed apology. It wasn't that well executed and was a bit pointless. Would have been better if he was an evil henchman and died in an hilarious way like in a Bond film!

Personally, I though that Zant's face was good but his actions were not. Jumping around like a sulky lunatic was a bit strange considering his actions after the Lakebed temple. So when I first saw the bottom of his face, I thought he looked too human and I kinda thought that they were going for a Sephiroth-type look so I was pleasantly surprised.

I was annoyed by your last point too though. I was also bugged by the fact that you don't have an ocarina and there weren't enough puzzles

Just an idea...
