Interview in a recent game informer magazine

i just rec'd a game informer magazine and as I was looking through it, I came across an article talking about the next Zelda game and the person the interview was about wanting to be the one to do it, is the guy who did the Halo games. I was never into Halo, or any first person shooter with the exception of the Metroid Prime series (excluding hunters), but the visuals that I have seen in Halo are great and may make a very good Zelda game. However during the interview, he said that if he was able to do a Zelda game he would get rid of the "annoying" puzzle solving and focus solely on combat. I for one enjoy solving the puzzles. What about anyone else? The battles could be more intense but he should leave the puzzle solving as well.

...Shigeru Miyamoto has always and will continue to be the lead designer for the Nintendo flagship games. I don't think for a second Nintendo will replace him for the next game.

The recent Zelda games have always been puzzlers with some good combat sections.

Unless you can actually name the person who gave the interview then there's no real point going on with this post.

Zelda puzzles are actually fun and require lateral thinking.

Other games have annoying puzzles, but I would say zelda has the best puzzles.

WHY? I love this game because it isn't mindless, I have to stretch my brain muscle. He should take it back. I doubt it'll even go through, though.

It's not Zelda without the puzzles. The guy is an idiot.
