oh, it's not THAT bad . . .
Ok, so on the surface this is indeed a bad movie. But let's give credit where credit's due. When you're working with practically no budget, you just can't be held to the same standard as the big hollywood projects. And of course when you have amber heard in your cast, you automatically get a kind of mulligan. (seriously, how many people would see this movie without amber heard? I'll admit I wouldn't have)
Oh, and I love that the local college kids' hangout is downtown Dallas. In the middle of the day. Just chillin' on the corner in downtown Dallas. Something about that just cracked me up. I'm sure anyone not familiar with the area wouldn't even notice, but that's the part of the movie that actually sticks out the most in my mind. I'm sure you take what you can get when shooting on location.
And yes, there's room for improvement in almost every area . . . but to everyone involved, I say congratulations. You worked hard, you got some experience behind you -- in short, you got your work out there. And for those of you wondering, no I was not involved in the production in any way. Just a film school reject who knows how hard it is to actually put something like this together. So be proud, Ms. Snyder, you have a credit on imdb!
