Seriously though I thought this had some good moments. The creatures and the video game I found to be somewhat scary.
Obviously, the history they used in the movie was ridiculous and it was kind of a summer teenybopper horror film.
There were times I was scared .... And isn't that the whole mission of a horror film?
Too bad it has some low scores.
I share your affliction with watching horror movies before bed to many regrettable nights lol. If you can get the directors cut it really improved the story line.

It's a guilty pleasure. Not the best, not the worst. An average, but entertaining horror flick.
Also, the game looked so cool, and I find Bathory's story fascinating.
