Could Johnny's actions have been based on the dog's own interpretations?

I personally think that all the scenes shown after the opening title were based on the chihuahua's interpretation of what he thought he seen, it kept showing his reactions to what Johnny was supposedly doing. The dog could have been sick too and add that along with the low lighting in the room and the flickering of the fluorescent bulbs, it may have caused him to hallucinate. Johnny was an invalid and not capable of dancing around the room. Plus there's the simulated laser beams shooting around which couldn't have been real and was probably only the dog's mind perceiving it in his own perception. It throws the viewer off to think of this possibility when we see the scenes when the man opens the door yelling at Johnny because he's causing a disturbance, maybe this was also in the dog's mind and it never even happened or it was just the ravings of a mad-man that never heard anything at all and had his own mental problems much like the dog.

Whatever the truth may be, it was a very interesting short film to watch and was well edited & directed along with killer techno sounds!
