i cant say i was complaining about her as she was pretty good looking overall.
the movie itself turned out a little better than i expected on the whole.
overall i give it a 7/10 (but if i had to choose a 6 or 8 i would say 6)
i think 'she' could be some of the reason i bumped it to a 7 instead of a 6 (im thinking though overall a 7/10 (which i gave it) might be a hair high on the rating but i feel it's strong 6, so in a way im sorta a 6.5/10 for it but i gave it a 7) .. but still the movie was a little better than i expected on the whole as i came into it not expecting anything from it. i sorta figure it would be the typical 6/10 type show and i overall got something a little better.
p.s. about the comment above, "She was the only reason why I didn't turn off the TV half way through" ... i disagree there though as there was more than just her and it was definitely not a boring movie by any means... cause if it was boring i would not have gave it more than a 4/10.

This woman is magnific, and when she 'dyed' her hair blonde(which is her natural color i think), she looked amazing, her acting in this movie was quite good also, then again so was the rest of the cast.
A good suprise this movie was, I gave it a 7/10 and if I could choose between 6 and 8 I'd have given it an 8.
a reply to my initial post back in 2008 which is over 6 years ago now...
i just finished re-watching Restraint and it held up for me as i am pretty sure this makes for my 2nd viewing of it now. i give it a 6.5-7/10. basically the general way it plays out has been done before and all of that but i think it's elevated by the performances of the three leads which i think make it better than most of it's type if you ask me. but i could be a bit blinded by Teresa Palmer though ;)
Restraint is Teresa Palmer's 2nd best movie she appeared in behind Warm Bodies (2013) (7/10 ; my #11 movie of 2013 out of the 115 2013 released movies i have seen). it's nice she's using her native Australian accent in this which makes her even hotter as she usually hides it in most of her movies and sounds like us Americans.
but it's funny reading my own post as back in those days she was a unknown for me but nowadays i think she's THE most attractive actress under the age of 30. i am looking forward to Triple Nine (2015), which will likely become the best movie Teresa Palmer appeared in, and will likely be one of my favorite movies of 2015 given the director's (John Hillcoat) reputation with me which is... 1)The Road (2009) (8/10 ; my #3 movie of 2009) 2)Lawless (2012)(7.5-8/10 ; my #3 movie of 2012) 3)The Proposition (2005) (7-7.5/10 ; my #8 or #9 movie of 2005).
hopefully Triple Nine gets her a bit more on the radar as besides her being very attractive (and seems genuinely nice especially after seeing her 'tez talks' on youtube which is pretty much for the fans which she did not have to do) i think she's actually a good actress but has not landed in many good movies so far (so she can't really show it much) but that will hopefully change with that. they are also remaking Point Break which while i assume ill like the 1991 movie (which i gave a 8/10 and is my #2 movie of that year) more (as i doubt it can capture the general feel/tone of the original along with the two leads (Swayze/Reeves) chemistry etc) i am just hoping i at least like the remake.
i have seen Palmer in eight movies total at this point which is a large portion of her filmography that's released currently.

shareI thought the same thing. She looked like Kristen Stewart but much hotter. A first i wasn't sure i would like her as a blonde since blondes all look the same to me but she grew on me. But i liked the more slutty reddish brunette look too. Hell i would have done both of them. LOL
