Same here. I've had it for a long time, but I thought it was along the lines of Hollywoodland and The Black Daliah, both of which bored me a little (especially Hollywoodland). But I just saw it, and it's such a great movie. Never got bored, I forced myself to stay awake till the credits roll. Something I would never do if the movie wasn't that interesting.
shareI'm not quite sure I'd call it "great" but I did enjoy it and would recommend it. Does anyone know what happened with this film in the theatres....was it a complete flop? Was it even released theatrically? I had NEVER heard about this at all and with all of the name actors in it, I'm not sure why. I just happened to pick it up on the super cheap at a garage sale and was expecting the worst, with all these actors in it but with it being (for me, anyway) completely unknown. I was very pleasantly surprised..............well done!
