I'm curious who everyone's favorite character was and why.
Mine was definitely Oogway, he was so hilarious without even trying. My favorite part was when he was blowing out the candles and for some reason I couldn't stop laughing at the fact that he was always shaking.

Just watched the film. It was absolutely great. I loved all of the characters for different reasons. The action scenes were great.
If I had to only choose one character I would choose Master Oogway.
However, I liked Shifu because of his endearing grumpiness. Tigress because I felt sad for her because she really wanted to prover herself to Shifu. Crane because I just loved his movement and character design. Viper because although she was a kung fu genius she was really kind. Po because he is simply relatable. Tai Leung because he had an actual motivation to be upset with Shifu. Po's father Ping, because he was a sweet Dad.
I didn't hate any of the characters, but I thought one really underused character was Mantis. He had very little to do in the movie. He didn't even contribute to the fight really when the Furious 5 confronted Tai Leung for the first time.
Still, it was a great film. A favorite.

I like Po's dad who ultimately gives Po the the key to being the Dragon Master. I can't say that I like Shifu. Too full of himself. Like Ooogway, though and loved it when he turned into the flower petals.
All of the Famous Five were great in their own way, but agree tht I would have liked to have seen more.
Yes! Someone mentions Po's Dad. He's not my favorite... but I still love him a great deal. I really like the way he says "my special ingredient SouP...ah" lol
but my fave is Oogway and shifu. ^^

Tai Lung. He's the best animated bad guy in years. He just kicked ass.
Oogway was funny though.

shifu hands down. and i never thought i would say this about a jack black character but Po. they have real chemistry but i have a soft spot for the little blue goose i think his name in zeng i love the spots with the captain of the guard.

shareAgreed. I can't decide who was more "cuddly": Oogway or Tai Lung. One thing I know, though: with the financial mess I've had to deal with and all of the general day to day stresses, I could sure use someone like Oogway in my life.
