this is why i hate reading message board because people with no strong base can ruin our joy of loving a great movie. we LOVE 'janji joni' and i know many people love it, too. great dialogue, appealing characters. and you said 'the dialogues r stiff n not appealing'? if you can't enjoy a movie this good, i feel sorry for you.

On a recently concluded 50th Asia Pasific Film Festival, Janji Joni didn't win anything but Puteri Gunung Ledang won Best Actress for Tiara Jaquelina. Two years in a row for Malaysian actress. Previously, it was won by Maya Karin. Sorry KillBill, I know you hate Malaysia. I purposely posted this to make you hate more!!!!
