Oh. My. God...

In one eight hour miniseries those crazy swedes managed to cram in every possible plot device, with one glaring exception: where was the big musical production number featuring a chorus line of transsexual nazi war criminal zombies?

Without spoiling the show by revealing many of the subjects covered, I will mention one in particular- more damn red herrings than the North Atlantic Sea. But most modern movie canons remained inviolate, including the common knowledge that a bomb cannot be defused if there is no red wire to cut.

Still, the acting is good, especially on the part of Cecilia Nilsson as Nina Molander who is rock solid.

Are people serious? We have finished watching the Swedish Wallander series, Forbrydelsen, the Bridge and (tragically) one dismal episode of Annika Bengzton.

This series is simply dreadful. Poor exposition, dismal pacing, annoying "heroes", a panoply of clichés and plot points that make no sense on any level.

What is especially galling for us non-Swedes out here is that the button at the end is inexplicable.

I can't believe I mustered up two whole ?s for this. We will be skipping Morden.
