Yummy mummy

The yummy mummy sketches are my favourite. They are so accurate it is a brilliant piece of observation. Living in London, there are so many of those 30 something moms with their People Carriers chugging out rivers of pollution and being so overly dramatic at the slightest thing. Its as if they never read the papers or have any comprehension of what real problems are. I work in a bank and so many come in and they are hilarious. The other week one came in to open a kids account and she hadn't got the right ID. She burst into tears and started screaming 'You don't know what its' like. My car is at the garage and I have to wait a whole hour for it. My nanny has called in sick and won't be coming in till tomorrow. I have had to leave men in the garden unattended whilst they clean the pool.' True story, just unbelievable. Trust me, Catherine Tate has got that down to absolute perfection and I could watch a whole show of them.

Did anyone ever see a sketch French and Saunders did where all the mums were in their 4x4s then Dawn French turned up in a monster truck and then Jennifer turned up in a tank. Classic...

But yeah, Catherine Tate's sketch is brillogs as well.
