AWEFUL

Poor action scenes, useless characters, jumbles together to make a movie that fills up screen space after the long long intro credits and the closing credits. Best part of the movie... the music during the closing credits. This movie won't even be kept in my archives but deleted. At least the acting and dialogue was not as bad as in Gargoyles by Jim Wynorski.

that is what I want to know. Acting. If acting and dialogue is ok, them the film is ok. That's what we need in here. People are different and they like different things. Saying that is awful is meaningless.

reply

hahahahahahahahahaha... im sorry i survived 3 minutes of this. the mummies, the inability to get spikes rise from the ground straight and finally the cgi on the head crush scene put me off. yes the egyptians did live in california dont you know.

reply

is not fair. People expect honesty yes, but personaly I thought the acting was great. The lead girls were great. Especialy Kevyn. Quality looked great compared to what else I have starred in. (i mean-if you want BAD quality low budget...look at some of my first few earlier movies...yikes.) You have to give props where they are due. Hope you enjoy other Asylum Films.

True Heather, you have been in some crap-tac-ular things in the past. But hey, it pays the bills right?
I kinda enjoyed this one.

reply

Thank's....yes it's true. And thanks for liking it. ;) www.heatherchase.com

I'd just like to point out the correct spelling for the word you were TRYING to use is AWFUL. Might be an idea to check your spelling before your next post, to save showing yourself up.

reply

lol. Awemazing movie.

reply

yeah but mate, does anyone actually care if he spells it wrong? we all know the word he meant, its not really showing himself up, its more showing urself up because ur such a twat for sayin that in the first place.

hmm i was considering whether to either watch this movie, or the illuminati...tough choice huh :-)

So you're obviously a pirate who stole the movie... It was free for you, so how can you complain? Kids these days. I swear...

I, on the other hand, bought the film and enjoyed it. The Asylum is really improving as far as its film quality goes. I'd watch this one again.

i could have been inventing something to make life easier for the old and infirm or writing beautifull sonnetts to win the heart of a future love!!! but no!! i just spent my sunday afternoon watching (and recovering from) this pile of b0llocks! im a horror fan and admitedly have probably sat through worse but come oooonnnnnn!!!!! it was awful awful awful.

reply

awefull yes awefull funny!
Those actors dressed up as mummy's were so funny to watch as they tried to look menacing. How silly to try and make them more terrifying by giving them the same voice as the mummy in Stepen Sommers remake from 1999.
The mummy from the Disney family movie "All wrapped up" was scarier than those bufoons!

"awefull yes awefull funny!"

Funny, hell. It's freaking hilarious. I've loved really bad horror movies since I was a kid, and 'Legion of the Dead' is one of the funniest I've seen in a while. The hilarity factor is enhanced by some of the worst acting I've ever seen, especially the guy who plays Prof. Ben-David. The scene where he bursts into the tomb, sees the empty slab and screams "where's my mummy" is just too much. I absolutely howled. I haven't laughed so hard at a movie since the "flaming tits" scene in 'Mrs. Doubtfire.' <G>

reply

kids these days? what r u on about. i dont think the idea of his post was to complain, but to give his opinion on the movie. isnt that one of the major ideas of imdb?

reply

Actually, considering the OP spelled it AWEFUL, it would suggest they were in reverence of the movie.

reply

Surely aweFUL > aweSOME?

reply

Even worse, you can't spell the word "awful!"
