What is your scariest moment?
The movie is great. And it's been haunting me for sometime now.
I just want to know what are you guys scariest moment?
For me .. I would say that the scene in the car at night was very scary.

Hm. For me, one of the scariest moments of the film, was the night driving scene in which Tun turns in his seat to see Natre sitting on the back of the car while they are speeding down the highway. I didn't expect it really and it gave me a good jump!

Same here, i *knew* what was going to happen in that photo and still it made me jump lol (havent had a jump like that for years). It was a good horror flick i have to admit. Im not a huge fan of quick scary moments tho, kinda cheap trick, the asians can pull it off at times tho.
This must be the scariest scene in any movie, ever. I flexed every muscle in my entire body, when she turned to the face the camera. As I remeber it, I suffered from muscle fever for days afterwards...

For me, the scariest moment is the scene in the studio when Tun was taking pictures for the married couple. After the couple left, suddenly, there's a black out and the flash light from the camera started periodically to flash by itself and suddenly Natre popped up in front of Tun. That scene made me jump and scared the hell out of me.

In Asia , its known that ghosts or spirits are often on your shoulders. For Asians it was more understandable thing. THE MORE scary scene was in the end when he survived the fall and was alive and u see in the reflection that she is still on his shoulders.. SWEAR to God, i almost cried and was reciting all holy things i could remember T_T
i'm with Miramaxphobia. Tun in the black-out studio was really creepy. The pitch-black room and the eerie sound the camera makes before it takes a picture then a flash...
I can't wait to see the American version of this scene!

The scariest for me was when she turns from profile to dead-on in the photograph when Tun blew up the picture. But 2nd is the black-out scene if only for that flash noise. Ever since watching Saw, I find that noise to be ridiculously creepy!

OH that's why that was so familiar to me~! I was just sitting there going, what is that noise, why is it so terrifying, WHY DO I HAVE DEJA VU I HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS BEFORE! :x Thanks for clearing that up. XD That is one creepy sound.
I was definitely the most frightened by the scene with the blanket. I know its childish and irrational but I for one always feel safer when I'm properly covered. When a movie scares me the first thing I do is dive under the covers. When Tun's started sliding down I started scrambling back from the screen, desperately clutching my own. XP There's a similar scene in Paranormal Activity that really got me too.
The first reveal of the ending (the Polaroid) was my favorite part though. Such a beautiful, brilliant concept! It was quite a scary moment in its own right of course, but I was more in pleased awe as the truth permeated my brain. I love this film. share
Thats one of my big fears aswell haha, Under my duvet is where I feel most safe so after seeing that scene come to life I just panicked and panicked!
However, the final scene where we see the picute and ofc the reflection in the hospital was just unnerving, really did send chill down my spine (still does after writing this lol)
the fire escape scene is one of the most exciting, if not the scariest

That is right, that scene about the bed and Natre pulling the sheets, then he looks down the bed and he comes back to bed and turns to the right and *surprise* Natre is there and he runs downstairs and Natre appears around.
I also agree, it has been one of the scariest movies I've ever seen.

I have to say the most scariest jump scene i have ever seen in any movie was definitely when he's in the photo room and the head looks up in the photo... after that i was so scared to watch the rest of the movie... but also another really scary part was when hes in the studio and lights turn off and she starts appearing in the flashes
shareNot a jump scare scene or anything, but that part when Tun was in the photo room working, and then "Jane" comes in. Tun says "you're here early". Then the phone rings and he goes to answer and it was Jane on the other line saying she'll be there later. I thought that was pretty creepy.

I agree with you, this is the scariest scene (in the beginning of chapter 4 of the DVD). Try to see it alone in the dark of late night in a 5.1 home theater: it is amazingly scary.

I must agree with this... but also I was really scared while he is trying to find Natre at the end of the movie and then realize that she is sitting on his neck... omfg...
This movie rocks... the best horror movie I saw.

One of the scariest and most entertaining bits I found to be the scene where Natre is chasing Tun, and Natre is walking on the ceiling of the corridor, then Tun climbs onto the ladder outside the building and Natre starts climbing down the ladder with him.

There were 3 scenes that scared the hell outta me.
The scene where Tun is in the studio filming the married couple.
The scene where he's driving the car at night and Natre appears on the side, then on the front of the car.
The scene at the end when she pulls the covers of of him and then starts to crawl into the bed.
This is the scariest movie Ive ever seen. It was Juon for awhile, but after I saw this this became the King.

There were 3 scenes that freaked me out:
1. The bit with Natre on the side of the car, then on the bonnet of it - the mother of all scares ! God, she was ugly !
2. When she watches Tun and pulls the covers off him, crawling into the bed - that was... pheow !
3. When the editor shows Tun and Jane photos with real ghosts - creeeeepy ! That gave me goosebumps for the rest of the night !
Rarely do we see such efficient films today !
That scene was definitely the most exciting.
IMO , the scariest would be when they find out the ghost's dead body or the discovery that the ghost was on the guy's back the whole time. Movie's pretty predictable , but they made it ... really scary and jumpy

i thought the scariest and the most disturbing moment when tun rrealizes that natre's constantly sitting on his shoulders. that would definately be enough for me to jump out of a window. and overall, it is one of the scriest movies that i've seen, almost on the same level as the japanese grudge.

This movie took over Ringu as the scariest horror movie i've ever seen. I saw this on dvd, alone. and i never turn off the dvd in the midle of movie but this one. The wedding photoshot scene was definitely the scariest. That scene had no sound & picture, but the sound of the camera blitz and..... Natre....
shareThe part that scared me the most was probably at the very end of the movie, when he's in the hospital slouched over on the bed, when Jane walks in and the door swings and in the reflection of the window you see Tun slouched over, then on the next swing you see Natre is sitting on his shoulders, then she's gone again on the next swing. (I know she isn't really gone, I just mean you can't see her.) I suppose that part scared me because I wasn't expecting it. Also, even if it's not in the movie, the special features on the DVD is just a slideshow of all the ghost pictures- the pictures and the music they use combined are pretty creepy if you're alone at night.
--Oh, how wrong we were to think that immortality meant never dying.
