Does anyone have information on a DVD release of this movie?

You can get a Region 3 DVD from your favorite Asia importer.
YesAsia has it, for example (check google)

I bought the Region 3 DVD from YesAsia -- it seems the Region 3 version is the only one available. Quality is first rate an the English subtitles are excellent. It includes a "making of" feature that unfortunately has no subtitles.
