The Rubber House


The most interesting thing in this film is the design of the house called "The Rubber House" in the script. BTW, I'm a big Willem Defore fan, but he should have begged off getting involved in this turkey. Loved the house, though.

Yeah, the house was totally cool. Though I find it hard to believe it would have had so many structural problems as the film depicted (bad heating, bad fireplace, windows birds flew into, etc.) since it was obviously a custom job done by an architect for himself or a rather demanding client. Ah well, that was the least of the plausibility problems with the script. I'd LOVE to own a house like that.

Pritchard visited the house recently on behalf of the new owner. It still looks much the same.
