Why this terrible development i swedish film?
[not native speaker - please excuse language errors]
It's so sad that swedish film has been contaminated by these really bad productions. The late Beck series, followed by the Wallander series and now this one. It lowers the standard terribly much. It's poor that you should get away with making a bad movie just because it's at least better than "those ones". What were they thinking about?! There are many passages in this flic that keep third-grade-school-play-standard. In some scenes, Vanna Rosenberg acts way worse than she does in Bolibompa (swedish tv children's show) and Kvarteret Skatan. There IS such a thing as "take two".
Wilson's trains of thought aren't genuinely or well enough built up, so that they appear as deux ex machina, or something like that.
Seeing Philip Zandén, who has made some great roles in his career, in this movie makes you deeply sad. It's like prostitution.
It will take years and years for swedish movie to regain it's good reputation and tradition. These rotten apples must be sorted out at an early stage.
I'm not trying to be mean or patronizing - I'm actually just sad.
