Acting

The best acting of the whole movie occured in the last scene when we see Stacie portay Lex in the cell. Other than that, the acting was pretty bad.

I disagree. Christina was pretty good as far as acting goes.

Christina was good. She just might have a career. Otherwise, the acting was horrid. The fight scene was worse than anything I ever saw in my college Stage Combat class. My 8 year old hits better than that!

I agree. The voiceovers weren't synced all that well, but I definitely think that was Rebekah's best acting the whole time.

Although, I do agree that Mackenzie did a good job as Christina. Corbett Tuck wasn't bad as Angela, and I thought Christopher Ratti wasn't bad as Joey, at least in the beginning. I thought he seemed fairly natural in his role.

But really, overall, the acting wasn't great. The only reason I rented it after reading all the horrible reviews was because it was filmed in my hometown and I was an extra in one of the school scenes. I watched it a second time with the director commentary, and it was nice to hear what he had in mind, trying to drop hints here and there, etc. So, at least I could appreciate that, though the movie itself didn't turn out very well.

Agreed for the most part.

Yes, the acting for Christina far outdid the rest, I was definately impressed by the actor playing Joey. Stacey was alright, but those two in particular I wanted to point out. Mackensie Firgens as Christine seems to have plenty of justified praise, so I wanted to make note of the Joey performance.

Much of the rest was very hammy, but it was an enjoyable film regardless ((because of?)) that.

Yeah, the acting was pretty horrid. It seemed like the director saw some kids on a street corner, not knowing if they were actors, and paid them money or food to be in the project. They didnt seem to know what feeling or instinct to omit when speaking so they seemed to do nothing at all but say their dull dialogue with mediorce conviction. However, Sam Kraus, the guy who played red haired Sean, is a good friend of mine and, in my opinion, played the best part in the entire film. Not cause I know him but because he wanted to have a fun experience, and his dad, who was just a driver for the movie, is the guy he tried to get alcohol from, who said, "You should grow some facial hair first, son." They arent actors, but it was fun cause of the situation as both characters and family members aside. My friends and family think its the best scene in the movie, cause we all know the movie is up there with Speed 2.
