I was wondering if anyone knew what the song was that played when everyone was arriving at the party , kinda rocky band, guy singing, that's all i got.

"i watched you watching me?" or something like that?

I haven't seen this movie, but if those were the lyrics, it may have been "Spy" by Tait, since that exact line is in that song.

That's actually my brother's old band Exposure, lead singer Brandon Hall. You can find his new band's music at myspace at www.myspace.com/ourvinylvows . They have a similar sound to Exposure.

I'm glad you liked it! That song was called "Battle For Water St. Bridge" and is still one of my favorites of his! :D
