Artificial Eye DVD Problems???

In the first meeting with Macarthur, the screen almost freezes momentarily and the sound drops out for half a second. Also, you can't switch on the subtitles from the menu display.

Is it just my copy? Or is this a manufacturing/transfer problem?

Neither of these glitches spoil the film, incidentally.

It's probably the layer-change point where the DVD player switches. It happens on all longer DVDs and is sometimes more conspicuous at times, especially depending on the actual player.

I had the same thing happen (A-eye dvd too) around 5 minutes into the film. My dvd player eventually kicked into action though.
