There are a lot of REAL people in history who have the same first name as last. Good catch, you're an idiot.

At first I thought your statement was silly but I did some research and it didn't take long. One of Hollyweird's first big stars was named, Dumbass Dumbass. Very surprising.

If I remember correctly, it wasn't even said like a first and last name. The female lead (Can't remember her name in the movie, too lazy to look, & I'm pretty sure she said his name) said it like "GrantGrant," as if it was a nickname or something, instead of "Grant Grant."

I don't know if anyone will be able to understand what I just said, haha.

Actually when I saw that it reminded me of Humbert Humbert from Lolita. He was the main character and (if you ever seen the movie or read the book) maybe they did that to perhaps refer to the way Starla and Grant met? I only say that because since she is younger than him, who knows it could have been that he met her when she was much younger and kind of swept her off her feet like she was his Lolita. Just a guess
