I went opening day here as well. I am a Fillion fan, ever since Pizza Place, and then Firefly. Slither was a fun movie, gore and more gore.

I got to pre-screen this about 2 weeks before it opened...LOVED it! This movie along with movies like Eight Legged Freaks and the 80s classic Night of the Creeps have a very B-movie, old school, Drive-In feel to them...love them!

I saw this on boot leg probably at least a year before it was released, i think... I think the boot leg was shorter actually.

We make a stand now, or there will be no one left to go to the chopper.

Saw it opening weekend at a prime time show with a buddy, we were late and got what were pretty much the last 2 seats. Very last row right below the projector booth, middle seats. It was FANTASTIC in theaters!

You know, I saw this about two weeks ago for the first time, and gotta say I WISH I saw it in the theater opening day. Back in '06 I used to go to see a lot of films opening day, alone, because I was usually bored.. but I don't know why I didn't go see this one. Especially since I remember wanting to see it and I knew seeing a horror film opening night would be packed and entertaining.

Here's to not repeating that mistake in the future, although unlikely a film of this calibre will ever be made in the future, at least not for a long time. Yet, "The Cabin in the Woods" sounds like a promising, fun, theater experience. So, waiting for that one. Anyone else?

I heard about this movie the day it was released. I watched the trailer at my school and got in trouble for viewing it in the library. I then dragged my dad to it who happens to be a hardcore christian and is disgusted by the sight of gore. He ended up loving it and laughed quite a bit. Glad I got to see it in theaters, I still love this movie!

I was working at the zoo at the time and they had stacks of free advance screening passes on the main desk. Why the *beep* the zoo was giving away passes to it is beyond me, but I was really happy that they were. I remember the audience at the advanced screening was great, really into it. They gave away posters, t-shirts, and other stuff. An awesome time was had by all.
