Ranking the Prophecy films from worst to best.

I must say The Prophecy series is one hell of a underrated series and I wish it got the attention it deserves.I throughly liked each installment for what they are.So here is my ranking from worst to best.

The Prophecy:Forsaken 2.5/5
"This film is certainly the weakest entry of the franchise it feels the cheapest of the bunch.I still do like this film and think it has some standout performances and some genuinely well made scenes.I like the cast of Tony Todd & Jason Scott Lee.It could've been better but for what it is I say it's a impressive DTV film."


The Prophecy II 3/5
"I'm surprised that one of the Christopher Walken trio films made it to this position on my list but I gotta admit this film is still entertaining but I just don't enjoy it as much as I do the others.The Prophecy II does explore a lot of the themes of the original to greater depth and actually feels like it's living up to the title of the film.Still it is not bad."


The Prophecy:Uprising 4/5
"Sure it does miss the screne presence of Christopher Walken but I think this film has terrific art direction to it.I think the cast excels in their performances in this film.I say just like underrated films like Dracula III:Legacy & Hellraiser:Deader this film uses it's foreign location that is limited due to the DTV budget to it's advangte and to make a cool little film."

The Prophecy III:The Ascent 4.5/5
"I think this film does a great job at being a worthy follow up to the original.I think this film has the most fun to be had.It's villain is cool I like how they provided a cool character arch for Gabriel.The only reason why this is lower is because it's defiantly has lower production values despite being better than 2."


The Prophecy 5/5
"A unique and clever spin on the religious themed Horror film and it maybe the best of it's kind as I disliked The Omen,The Exorcist & Rosemary's Baby.This film played with the idea with far more intelligence and respect than most of it's kind."

All 5 films are terrific but unfourntley none of them really gave me the desire to see a 6th film in this franchise.
