I mean this movie cannot even be put in the same league with 'Going Overboard'...Its outclassed by its high budget, its bunch of show-off smart-a..'s and most of all: its pathetic storyline!

I am not sure if anyone who produced this movie ever attended history classes in school-level (it would be a real disgrace to expect any of the writers to have attended higher education): I will agree that there were black bandits around at some stage in some areas of the 'Wild West' but come'on the cashier at the bank being 1. Female 2. Black ??!!

I mean from all the stories about black american society one can pick, some smart a..'ses can only try looking out for some proud gangsters dressed in black leather (with fancy zip's) in muscles and hip-hop music - give me a break!

One really wonders if not the filmstudio itself is racist in producing this rubbish...

Please comment!

i think that u said this was a good film just for a laff and to raise a few pulses because this had to be the worst western if we even dare call it that since Dollar For the Dead with Emilio Estevez..and thats saying something,or maybe thats the only 2 movies u have seen.a few words to describe the film are..pants..pants and pants

I agree with the comments about it being bad. Hell who wore zippered motorcycle jackets in the west? Wanna see a decent black western get Posse (1993). Common people hip-hop and westerns do not go together. Everyone in this flick should be ashamed of themselves. Puuure S*%T!! Hey who knew so many black men wanted to be cowboys? Can anyone gimmie a list of their favourite black westerns?

Some good Black Westerns;
1. Take a Hard Ride with Jim Brown, Fred Williamson, Jim Kelly and lee Van Cleef (my favorite of all time)
2. Posse (as already mentioned)
3. The N----r Charley movies with Fred Williamson
4. 100 Rifles with Jim Brown, Burt Reynolds and Raquel Welch
and finally (if you liked this one) 5. Gang of Roses with Lil' Kim, Lisa Raye and Macy Gray, also directed by Jean Claude

Does anyone find it strange that genuinely good movies are considered crap by some people, and crap movies are considered good by others? Very interesting. Like an anti-troll.

You see that yellow stuff? That's my awesomeness.

RayZR-KaI I hope your not trying to say this was a good movie? If you are well I think you have just redefined the word good.

reply

Heck no. I was saying that this is a bad movie, but for some reason SOME ONE manages to find something to praise about it. Just a paradox I thought worth pointing out.

if 'gang of roses' didn't sell so well, 'brothers in arms' wouldn't have gotten greelighted. they both was made by "SONY" thats who you should be mad at? funny thing 'posse' came out in the 90's, and noboby els came with another black western. but now there have been a few made and everybody go crazy over them, good or bad

1.posse

2.gang of roses

3.brothers in arms

4.ride sweet, die slow (the lamest one)
