I don't know what to make of this whole story

Those RCMP notes would offer an unbiased 'just the facts' recount of Douglas'
life-warts and all.

It's obvious why the library is only offering redacted documents: They
are concerned that anything 'negative' regarding the 'dear leader' could
be used as a means to threaten Canada's socialized healthcare.

My guess: Douglas' probably spoke highly of eugenics/Hitler's policies later
in life. That would force Canada to look into their soul regarding this
whackjob.

Of course Michael Moore conveniently omitted all this. Revisionism is alive
and well.

That is of course one point of view.

But let's not forget that everyone knows Douglas wrote a scholarly paper on eugenics and was its proponent but later recanted his support for it. AFAIK nothing has been done to hide this. It's obvious he didn't have a blue moon in his eye and wouldn't support it after the nazis completely discredited it.

On the other hand it would make perfect sense for Canucki intelligence services to keep concealing that they not only could have kept Douglas on a hook but also tramped on all of his constitutional rights throughout his lifetime until to his death. I also suggest considering the possibility that some of well known politicians and/or officials took active part in it, not only those from the North but also those from the South (allegedly). There is also a possibility that the file has already been tampered with, partly destroyed partly forged.

*beep* only recanted because of the holocaust

he knew it was political suicide

wake up a$$hat

Yes twerp you're correct but only to an extent. Political suicide? Was he already a major politician at the time? Where?

Holocaust? At what time the term and concept appear, twerp?

You twerp are a cowardly bastard as you ignore what is relevant to the discussion hopelessly clinging to Douglas's early research of eugenics. Grow up. Be a man.
