shareEddie Guerrero vs. Rey Mysterio - about a 6. They've done better, back in their WCW days, but it was still pretty good. Nice fast-paced finish.
Money in the bank ladder match - about a 7. It became a spotfest, but most of them were hit, most notably by Shelton Benjamin. Chris Benoit appeared to be hurt legitimately. It was a bit short for a six-man match but still very solid.
Randy Orton vs. Undertaker - about a 5 or 6. Surpassed my expectations. Orton's shoulder is hurt pretty badly, and he's going to be on the shelf for 4-6 months now, but he sucked it up well and still put on a solid match, even attempting a tombstone at the end before Taker reversed into one of his own for the win.
Trish Stratus vs. Christy Hemme - about a 2. Christy almost fell out of her top a couple times. Thank goodness this match was short, and thank goodness the one (1) wrestler involved actually won.
Kurt Angle vs. Shawn Michaels - about a 9. Easily the best match of the night. HBK proved that he could go toe-to-toe with Angle in the "real" wrestling department (that is, applying, reversing, getting into/out of mat holds). Some great high spots and a surprisingly dramatic finish.
Akebono vs. Big Show - about a 3 or 4. Nice novelty, but it's really short and really kinda boring.
John Cena vs. John 'Bradshaw' Layfield - about a 3. REALLY short, and the ass clown wins.
Batista vs. Triple H - about a 6 or 7. This match also surpassed my expectations. They kept it shorter than WM main events have historically been, but Batista took more of the match than I was expecting, and the sit-out power bomb looked perfect at the finish.

eddie vs. rey- 6
money in the bank- 9. Not traditional, but very "hollywood". Benoit was definitely hurt legitimately, his wound re opened, and that gave it a lot more brutality.
Randy Orton vs. The Undertaker- 7. This match was way better than I expected. The Undertaker goes back to his old ways, and this match was very entertaining because of that. Great for a third match on the card.
Trish Stratus vs. Christy Hemme- 2. All these divas are here for is to show us some skin. What was Trish wearing? Why was she so covered? The match was terrible, which i knew it was going to be going in there.Get rid of the division, and put back the hardcore division instead.
Kurt Angle vs. Shawn Michaels- 10. Best match of the night, no doubt. Best 1 on 1 match I have seen in a while. Bost of these men are great at what they do, and they put on the perfect match. Controversial ending.
Akebono vs. Big Show- 4. Not very exciting, but at least it was quick. Plus seeing Big Show in a big diaper/thong was hillarious.
JBL vs. John Cena- 2. I hated this match. Every match Cena is in, he makes it so boring and painful to watch. I cant believe he won. It's time for a new wwe champion, but not Cena. WWE made a huge mistake.
HHH vs. Batista- 6. It was ok. I was expecting more, because of all the hype surrounding it. Not a rememberable wrestlemania main event at all, but im curious as to see what will come of batista.

Eddie G Vs. Rey Mysterio-6/10- Not a bad start could of been more to it, Eddie put up a better match.
Money in the Bank-7.5/10- Entertaining Benoit, Shelton and Kane were the best among the six, Edge comes out of nowwhere for the victory.
Undertaker Vs. Randy- 8.0/10- One of the better matches of the night, close to a classic, with the right man winning.
Christy Vs. Thrish- 4.0/10 Not bad, it just wasn't very fun to watch. Watching Christy wrestle will give one a good laugh.
Kurt Angle Vs. Shawn Michaels 8.5/10- Possibly the best match of the night. Classical tech. battle, both the guys are warriors, big win for the annoying Angle.
Akebono Vs. Big Show- 4.5/10- It was boring and fun at the same time, short and nothing special.
Cena Vs. JBL 4.5/10- Just like the previous match it was just boring, could have been more to it. JBL made an underappreciated champion. I don't think Cena is capable of being a bigtime champ like a Stone Cold or Shawn Michaels, etc...
Batista Vs. HHH- 6.5/10- Better than the smackdown title match, but it was kind of slow paced and flair's interference's were annoying.
Overall- We have seen better and worse Wrestlemania's, somewhere in the middle out of all 21.

2. Randy vs. Undertaker (9)
Old school exciting! ... even though Randy lost
3. HHH vs. Batista (8)
Excellent...did anyone else think Batista was a little angrier at HHH than he needed to be?
4. Money In The Bank (7.5)
How can a 6 man ladder match not be great? (a face should have won though)
5. JBL vs. Cena (7)
Could have been better but a well deserved win for Cena
6. Eddie vs. Rey (6.5)
A solid match - just goes to show Eddie & Rey can't be enemies even if they try
7. Trish vs. Christy (5.5)
Trish: less than impressive, Christy: better than expected but has some irritating in-ring mannerisms
8. Akebono vs. Big Show (4.5)
A lot of build up to a short, anti-climactic match but then I'm no expert on sumo wreslting
1.Eddie and Rey-Great fast paced match.Eddie's best match in a while best part is no heel turn for neither.

2.Money in the Bank-Pretty good match but this lasted too short I mean it was at least 10 minutes.I've seen ladder matches go 30.Bad part was Kane the strongest out of all of them and just like others(Benjamin and Jericho) would dissapear for 5 minutes.Edge shouldn't have gotten it they should've had Tomko,Kane,or Christian stop him at least but I guess like everyone else they did 5 minute Knockout job

4.Undertaker and Orton-Solid match this has to be Taker's best WM Match since X-7.And the ending came out of nowhere it had one of best reversals I've seen.The best part is is that Taker's still Undefeated

5.HBK/Angle-If there was a Top 5 Greatest Matches of all time DVD this would be included.Just like last year HBK doesn't fail in making this a solid match.But there was alot of WTF? moments.Like when Angle put his straps back over his shoulders and then put them back down.And of course HBK's reversal attempts reversed back into an Ankle Lock.HBK should've won since it ain't fair that two Smackdown guys won

excuse me?! that's a bit of a generalisation don't you think? now i know that the women's division in the wwe is pretty crap (none of them are good on the mic, few of them are technically sound wrestlers, etc) but next time you make a comment like that, try to be a little less careless. do you not remember chyna? ivory wasn't half bad either. and jazz & lita had their good moments (i.e. the fisherman's suplex, team xtreme). either explain yourself or just remember that not everyone on these boards are chauvinists (cause that's how you're making yourself out to be by making remarks like that)

I said that because I have yet to see a womans match in which I wasn't bored. I wouldn't count Chna because she was always going up against the men but the rest of them haven't impressed me. If it wasn't for there pretty faces they would be nobodys. That's the only reason people like them(shallow).

Christy vs Trish - 3 its a womens match with a nonwrestler i didnt expect much (I agree with the guy above me, most womens matches suck but Lita vs Trish on Raw wasnt bad)
Ladder Match - 9 match of the night in my opinion. So many high spots, so many bumps taken this was a classic Wrestlemania match, Match of the Year Candidate
Orton vs Taker - 7
HBK vs Kurt Angle - 8.5 great match it couldve been better though
Cena vs JBL - 2 This match was short and it sucked and worst of all the wrestling god JBL lost his title to some street thug named John Cena who has turned the WWE and US titles into a bling bling sideshow. Cena should bow at the feet of a JBL, a true wrestling god
Sumo Match - 1 horrible and a non wwe guy won this. He made Big Show look weak , I didnt expect much out of this but it was far worse then i expected
Pipers Pit - I know its not a match but I'm rating it anyway. Piper shined. Carlito shined. Austin sucked. Austin was just kind of awkward on this segment and I'm not sure why. Piper was amazing as always and I believe that Carlito is currently the most entertaining superstar in WWE. He's the future of the biz.
Batista vs HHH 7 Great match but of course it didnt look as good as it really was compared to some of the matches above. I'm glad Batista won and I'm hoping that when he loses the title its not to HHH but I'm sure it will happen anyway, Stephanie always gets daddy to kiss HHH's ass
This was a great show. Much better than Wrestlemania 20 which had like 3 good matches out of 12. HBK vs Angle and the Ladder Match made this show great and MOST of the other matches added to its greatness. I reccomend that anyone who didn't watch it buy it on DVD when it comes out next month.
i apologise for the long post, but here goes.
mysterio v eddie g decent match but a bit short, it would have been better higher up the bill on a smackdown ppv like judgement day. 5/10
ladder match very entertaining with many funny/painful moments (usually from benjamin & benoit - how benoit manages to stay fit doing the stuff he does every week is beyond me, he must be made of teflon). 9/10
undertaker v orton decent pretty good match, which you usually get from both fighters. 7/10
trish v christy not as bad as i had expected (mostly due to christy's lack of expirience) christy carried the moves better than i thought she would, but i would have preffered to see trish against victoria although i can see that the wwe are trying to find reasons to keep cristy beyond her current contract. 4/10
akebono v big show ok good that it was kept short maybe next year big show will get a decent match, as he's due one, after last years custoimary cena defeat, and you never konw, he might even win one 4/10
piper's pit entertaining, it's good to see that piper's still got the chat (and i hope the rumours of a contract with the wwe are true) stone cold wasn't quite as good, i like stone cold, but i find his insults (eg commenting on insultee's clothing) a little grating, and carlito got the best quote of the segment ("neither of you are cool") too 6/10
angle v michaels brilliant, the outcome was always going to be an angle victory, but the action swayed one way to the other making you believe a michaels win was possible, and what action it was 9.5/10
cena v jbl where do i start, the wwe have messed up big time with their main events (more on batista v hhh in a moment) cena isn't ready to become a main eventer yet, i like his mike work, and some of his wrestling is good, but i would say that mysterio is more ready than he is. unfortunately i don't think he can carry it off as the main face at the moment, but i really do hope i'm wrong on that. they probably should have given him another year or even 2, i would have preffered it if they had made big show champion for a while then let jbl battle for it back until he goes to raw to become the main heel. 4/10
batista v hhh same as above really although a much better match, batista is more convincing in the ring than cena, but his mike work isn't as good, which wasn't a problem as a mid-carder, but now as he's the major face he's going to have to improve it vastly, and to be fair over the last couple of months he has done some good mike work 6/10
ovarll rating if you view as a stand alone event it was funny & entertaining (more so than last year's) with one classic match a 1 entertainingly violent match. if you view it looking at the knock-on effect of the raw/smackdown shows, then there may be a few problems. it will just depend on how good the story lines they have got planned, and how good the 2 champions are going to be at executing them. so far in the last couple of weeks, cena has done some good mike work, and the "bling bling sideshow" belt is great, and batista has done some decent ring work. 7/10
