who DIDN'T like this and why?

I just watched the podcast and I thought it was pretty good. but granted, I am a big fan of the band. But I'm curious why the film seems to have a lukewarm rating (5.8). I noticed a bunch of people even gave it real low ratings like a 2 or a 1.

The content was engaging IMO, but I thought the camera working was a little annoying after a while. I think someone posted on here that they got "seasick" watching it and I know what they meant, all the zooming in and out on random things.

A criticism that I have... I think it might be difficult for people to take Hanson seriously as an "indie" band. They did have the courage and the initiative to start their own label and fight the commercial music machine. but they wouldn't have the resources to do that if it weren't for the success they've had with the same music machine in the past.

but that said, being both inside and outside of "the machine" gives them a unique perspective, and they can educate people on how the industry works.

but anyhow, like I said, my judgement might be clouded because I am a fan. i'm interested to hear from people that didn't like it as a film, and why.

I didn't like this movie. I admit I was never really a Hanson fan. I don't have anything against them and their music doesn't repulse me. I actually enjoy documentaries. I'll tell you why I didn't like this.

The concept and footage were interesting. I didn't like that they dragged out a lot of their "rejection" moments for the entire movie. And I would have preferred to see more of their work after they got their own label and more of how they put their album together. I would have also like to have seen more of their personal lives and maybe some reference to world events or something outside of music for perspective.
