hi nsutravis, i really hope to be an actress one day and i have few questions about acting. What is the difference between a movie studio company and a production company? Does the movie studio company plans the promotion for the movie or is it the production company? How much in advance does an actor/actress know of their filming schedule? I am a big big big fan of tia mowry. Have you met tia mowry? What kind of person is she?

marqueshottie, sorry i do not know the answers to most of your questions. I am just an intern and this is my first movie. But Yes i have met Tia and she is the most lovable and genuine person you can meet. She is soo sweet and when she was done filming, she left notes for everyone thanking them. Sorry i couldnt help you more.

Yes i have gotten so see him. He is looking good. His role is 2nd. He plays the father of the movie.

I noticed an old post that their were pictures from the set and the wrap party on Yahoo. I clicked over and they were no longer there. I worked several days as an extra, and met some of the crew that I saw while they were in town. The crew was super sweet. I teach art and they just called me the Art Teacher.I would like to see the pics. I am also glad that it finally finished!

I am a screenwriter in L.A. and have a script with Tia Mowry in mind. My agent would disown me if he knew I was writing this, however it would be nice if it ever made it into her possession. Any way to help?

I am not sure. Alot of things have happend with Producers and the film is not under new people. So everything is getting back on track on post production. So hopefully late this year!

I too am instested with this movie. I am from La myself and its nice to be a part of it. What happen with the Producers and all? I thought it was under new people also.

Yes it is under new Producers and as far as i know is on a roll to be released in 2007.

I was gonna ask a question... Is Kirk Kepper still a Producer? I knew he was the actor and all. What about Roy Harris? Do you know a Hunt Scarritt?
My nephew was given a business card in Natchitoches with a Shawn Sheltons name as a producer. Do you know him?
I know I have questions but I have been all up in the movie.

I was recently recruited at a movie theater to a preview screening.

I loved it

Afterwards I met several of the producers. This is what I know:

1. The film is complete and being shown to buyers. From what I gathered, the question isn't whether it will sell, it's whether it will go theatrical or to TV.

2. Several producers who were there (not related to the film) spoke very highly of the performances. James Brolin, Joanna Cassidy and Tia Mowry in specific. (Tia fans, you have alot to be excited about)

3. Yes, there was drama during production. Several producers were let go.

4. The production from start to finish survived 2 hurricanes (Katrina and Rita).

There's alot of bad energy about this movie. You can read from some of the posters above to see that. It was low-budget and with new producers. But don't judge the movie by that. It's worth seeing. I read somewhere that some Alzhimer's Company really loved it. I also read that several agents have already been praising it. I thionk James Brolin even got a producer credit. He loved it so much that he helped them produce it.

That's gotta mean something, right?

honestly, the script is great. well the story anyway. Seeing this movie film and seeing their performances, Tia, James, and Joanna (although not so pleasent to work with) were good. I am very interested in seeing the final product

I saw pictures that you had posted before...I tried to look at them agian and it said you had moved them to another site...I looked there but was unable to find them...they were good pictures you had posted when you were working with the movie The American Standard...two sets...one of the Wrap Party and the others were of the making, etc...I would like to see them again if possible...thanks...Parvonah

hey my friend is in this movie, but with all the drama surrounding it i cant seem to find a release date anywhere. I know it is under an independent company now, so I want to be sure I dont miss it (there are any independent theaters around me, so I wont know when it comes out) can anybody give me a date or month for when it is scheduled to be released?
