My Review

Now, if you read any of my reviews, you'll find they're not like anyone elses. That's good and bad I suppose. But, for me I don't see any reason to explain what the movie is about, read the back of the box or watch a trailer if you want a summary. A review is not a summary. A review tells you one person's perspective, their vantage point opinion. And that is all.

So here's mine.

Stephen Baldwin, I've always liked him. Maybe because he broke away from the mold of his brothers, instead of walking in their footsteps he took the road less traveled. The road where accolades are harder to come by, and most people judge you simply when they consider you a B-movie actor. But, if there were any really enjoyable contemporary B-movie men, Stephen Baldwin is it.

Sadly this was not one of his better movies. He's great with the quasi supernatural psychological types, but playing a straightedge cop in boring plot/dialog/murder stories is a bit much.

I wish he'd get back to more of the bizarre. This movie kind of drones, and even the blatant nudity which lacked commitment or intimacy leaves one wanting.

3/10

I haven't seen the movie yet but I was interested in what you thought of the performances by Charles Malik Whitfield. I've seen him in several movies and tv shows and was wondering if this movie would be something I would enjoy seeing him in...
Thanks!
