The Region 1 version is 5 minutes longer according to amazon and the aspect ratio is full screen in region 1 and widescreen in region 2. Does anyone know about the extra 5 minutes in the US version??
shareFilm which runs at 24 frames per second in Cinema (I work as a projectionist) When transferred to Region 2 PAL DVD film is speeded up to 25 fps to match the frame rate of the PAL 25 frame TV system. The increase in speed is not noticed by the untrained eye but it does make people think films have been cut when released to dvd.
