Kind of disappointed

I was expecting the movie to be a good deal more psychologically thrilling than it was. The story was great, but it really wasn't scary.
The ending ... Well, I would have rather had some stray ends, than a smooth ending. Something to leave me hanging and keep me wondering. Oh well.

Saw it tonite in Seattle - I had similar thoughts, it had some great elements but overall left a little disappointed. Some of the acting (neighbours) and dialogue felt forced and just unnatural. But I liked a lot of the camera work, especially that of the outdoor scenes.

Also, as someone else pointed out - would have made a more interesting ending if it had been left ambiguous and open-ended.

I just finished it and it was very well done for an indie horror, but I have to say I saw the end coming a mile away. Also, as far as enjoyment goes, I was a little let down. I had higher expectations going to it. But I would say it's worth a watch.

*SPOILERS*
i guessed the ending pretty early on as well. the movie actually opens with one of george's nightmares so i figured they were something that were in his head already since he hadn't gone to the house at that point. also, based on the fact that the cast was so limited in this movie i had the feeling they weren't going to start adding new characters half way through the movie.
