...The Machinist. But I thought The Machinist did a much better job of interweaving thought and real life and the power of guilt and repressed/lost memories coming back to haunt.

That said, I still thought Head Trauma was an awesome effort from an indie filmmaker... pretty predictable story, but great camera work and some genuine scares.

You're absolutely right. The "Machinist" which came out some years before might have been a better job, but it worked on a much bigger budget. The salary of Christian Bale was more than the budget of "Head Trauma" itself.

The comparisons to The Machinist can't be avoided, especially the ending. Still, I enjoyed this movie.
