The never ending flask of booze

I think this is a great movie, but the only thing that annoyed me was George constantly drinking from his flask. It never showed him filling up the flask. If he did have a bottle, why not just drink from it?

You mean they could still be living in a primitive state of neurotic irresponsibility?
