The UK title is not featured on IMDB which is mildly frustrating. IN the UK the film is being released on February the 8th as 'Azur & Asmar: The Princes' Quest'. If anyone has the power to update this then please do!

After I saw the posters in Paris I was really looking forward to seeing this, but with subtitles - my local cinema is showing it dubbed, and I don't think I can face it if it's going to be US voices :)

...though opinions differ as to whether it's Steven Kyman or Kynman !
You should be glad to know that they're not US voices but UK ones, which may not be good but is undeniably more tolerable (I can't use the argument that the dub is in a language which is neither the original nor my own).
You really, really, really should see this at a cinema if you're ever presented with a chance, even if it is a dub – and this is coming from someone who despises dubs for all sorts of reasons and typically walks on them. As I said, the Britishness of the dub makes the voices themselves tolerable – if nowhere near as good as the original – the only actual problem is that of the mouth moments having no relation to the dialoge we're hearing, and this be avoided by simply avoiding looking at the mouths. And by Jupiter, is there a whole lot else to look at. 'Azur et Asmar' has the most exquisite detailed background background paintings I've ever seen in a animated film, and I've seen a lot of them. Well OK, those of 'Totoro' and 'Mononoke-Hime' are probably on the same level, but they're of a different 'genre.' These backgrounds are painted at such a high resolution that you need to see them at a cinema. Only having seen it on DVD would be like, well… Only seeing some huge and minutely detailed painting with lots of interesting little things in it as just a postage stamp of the whole image. This is what Blu-ray Disc was made for, but it has only been released on format in Japan. So the dub is worth it for that. When it comes out on DVD in the summer we'll finally be able to hear the original, but one needs to see it at a cinema in order to see the original.
