FRENCH POPULATION

Given the long painful history, political fallout, and outright war due to France treating Algeria as a colony, Arabs and Frenchmen getting along really is a current topic. There are several movies about it: For a focus on Arabs living in France, see the movie "The Secret of the Grain". Relations between Arabs and Frenchmen are also central to the movie "Cache".
