I think the most ridiculous thing in this series was...

Shane's mustache. I seriously laughed when he first appeared with that ridiculous thing on. I think they did it to make him look older, but he just looked ridiculous.

Almost everything about the series finale was ridiculous. I get wanting to show where they all are in a few years, but it would have been much better had they kept the finale condensed to their time back in Re-Grestic and the deal with Guillermo. Missed opportunity to see that play out instead of just hearing the end-game.

I think the ending was ok, overall. Honestly, by seasons 6/7 I was hoping Nancy would get killed off once and for all, since the character became utterly annoying and unlikable. And the show did drag a bit...
But anyway, I don't think watching the entire show was a complete waste of my time, since I enjoyed most of it, but the first 3/4 seasons will always be my favorite.

Edit: One thing which also made me keep watching the show was the fact that the episodes and the seasons were short, so it's easy to watch it all.
As for other tv series which I know are extremely good, like Dexter or Breaking Bad, I find it hard to start watching them and go through all the seasons, because of the 1 hour long episodes. I started watching Breaking Bad a while back, but due to the lack of time I stopped watching in the early episodes of season 2. It's much more time consuming. Even if I watched 3 episodes in a row of Weeds I would be spending roughly the same time as watching 1 episode of Breaking Bad, but the difference is I'd be 3 episodes closer to the end of the show.

Actually, Weeds episodes are nearly 30 minutes each, so it's about half the length of a BB or Dexter episode. But I agree, I just fly through them. I think the frequently light-hearted tone of the show helps.

You're right, I was rounding the run time of the episodes to 20 mins, but they are indeed closer to 30.

I wonder if it had to do wit what Kat said early in the show about him doing interesting things with his facial hair.

I still don't like the finale. Everything about it was just wrong... it didn't feel like the same show at all. Yes, I see nods to the pilot... but really... for a show that has had its good share of meaningful scenes and such fine acting and great writing... I largely felt the last season limped it's way to the finish line. It was definitely anti-climactic to me...
