I find it hard to believe someone like Estaban would fall for Nancy espically when he knew her for 20 minutes and that's in seperate times I can understand her using her charm on guys like Conrad & Guillermo because those guys can only go so far and they know they will never get someone who got their *beep* together (until Conrad retired from the drug business) u expect me to believe A Politician, whatever character Aidan Quinn played, maybe the DEA agent etc. would fall head over heels for her

She's frickin' gorgeous. Do you think the actress would have trouble finding sex partners in real life? Nope. So why should her character? It's unlikely that someone her age would be that hot -- but she is that age and she is that hot, so where on Earth is your complaint originating from?
Besides, as others have probably noted, it's a trope of the genre. You have much older, much less attractive protagonists sleeping with much younger, much more attractive partners in plenty of other shows. Tony Soprano, Don Draper, the dweebs from Entourage, Sex and the City, frickin' David Duchovny. If you're the protagonist of a pay-cable show it's an unwritten rule that everyone you come across wants to go down on you as soon as possible. Why shouldn't this apply to Nancy Botwin as well??

She's mildly attractive, that's about it. I agree that in real life she wouldn't be seen as this irresistible woman that every man falls over himself trying to get to. But that's what is required to make the story work so I don't mind it so much. What bothered me more than them exaggerating her looks and charisma is that they have several characters (usually Black guys) mentioning her unforgettable ASSets. After all these years, I'm still giving the wtf face The girl is FLAT as a pancake. By no stretch of the imagination does she have any type of butt to speak of. It's even flat for a White woman, just terrible. Ugh, why the writers made it a point to include this I'll never know. I mean we're not blind; she's shown from the back in nearly every episode. Who do they think they're fooling...
Ok rant over. That was really my only pet peeve about the show. I do like the character's personality though and could see how some might become attracted to her quickly; just not to the extent they did on the show.

It's so far fetched. She is not even hot. She is flat as a board, with zero hips or ass. I was laughing hysterically when she was doing the "brick dance" and all the guys are hooting and hollering when she bends over. All the mentions to her "booty" and tits were so ridiculous.

On what planet does she have tits and great body? She's a small b cup, and from the myriad topless scenes she's had over the seasons, her breasts are "ok". They're not bad at all, but certainly not spectacular by any stretch of the imagination. And her ass is actually concave if that's possible. Her jeans sag in the butt section, what does that tell you?
The best part of Nancy is her legs. They should have focused on that, not this magical unicorn ass the writers just felt the need to include with all the evidence to the contrary.
After the first season she got even skinnier as well, which didn't do her any favors.

Nancy not only had the looks, she had the mysterious personality that attracted people to her for a variety of reasons -men and women. Yes, she knew how to manipulate like nobody else, flirt, cajole, bribe, etc. and she did it to get her way always, except with Andy at the end. But I don't believe she was evil.

Mary-Louise Parker is thin as a rail. Nancy was a pretty face who dressed on the slutty side and clearly enjoyed sex quite a bit. She might be considered a slut in some circles but she was really an adventurous woman who behaved irrationally and wasn't ugly. That's attractive to most men only looking for sex. The unrealistic part is how she brought down so many men with power. Nancy could control the controllable, the controllable craved Nancy.

Also, Late 40's? Nancy is late 30's in the series. Late 40's at the end. They pretty much imply Nancy had siles between 19 and 22. Silas is 19 in season 6 so nancy is 38-41
