What could improve

The Teleport Glitch. Everytime a character teleports, their backs are at their fronts! Painful. ;(
Mario's Wing Cap fall goof. These Japanese game-makers are really odd. When you hold B at a great height when falling, you will have a bad landing even though you've fallen slowly!
The way the Spindrifts look. How can an irresistible cutie possibly hurt?
The electric things' personalities. They laugh when they electrocute you! Super-evil.
The Luigi goof. When you hold B when falling from a great height as Luigi or another character but with a Luigi cap on, you still have a bad landing!
The Yoshi Goof. When you hold B after jumping at a great height, even if you look like you're going to have a nice, calm, safe landing, you have a bad, nasty, dangerous one instead!
The problem with Metal Wario. How can Wario be invincible if he loses health after a bad landing?
The freeze goof. Like on a load of my games there are parts when everything goes still except for the moving thing. Every time you talk to a character, everything goes still except you and the one you're talking to. At the start of the Koopa the Quick or the Big Penguin race, when the fanfare plays, everything is still except you and Koopa/Big Penguin, until the race is on. Even every time a star appears and you get one (or a silver star), everything goes still except the star!
The problem with the snowman body. Every time you get behind the rolling body on Star 5 of Cool, Cool Mountain (Snowman's lost his head), you still get hurt.
The Somersault goof. Every time you do a somersault jump after screeching, you don't do the 'Ta-Da' pose.
The Glox boxes, the Kryptor and those machines that sproing you out. They (and the electric things (if only there was a switch!)) are invincible!
The flying Shy Guys. They're the toughest enemies!
No Yoshi tongue for others. Why can't Mario, Luigi and Wario for once look like Yoshi by putting a Yoshi tongue in our mouths?
No escape in air or death. Every time you are in air, you can't escape or change the options! That means that if you fall from a cliff, they just let you lose your life! You can't pause when you die, also.
The problem with exiting a course. You are back in the main room of the castle when you exit a course, instead of going out of the portal to go back into the level quickly.
The Capped Goomba goof. A load of times, when the Capped Goombas run away from you, they chase you after getting interrupted again!
