How to connect Wii to the Internet?

I plan on buying the Nintendo Wii, and was wondering how to connect it to the Internet? On wikipedia, it states that the Wii has 1 USB port, but no Ethernet port. Today, I bought a switch to connect my dorm room to the Internet, so I was wondering if the switch can help with my problem? I'm clueless as to how the Wii will connect to the Internet!

the wii has something that lets you get wireless internet

Thank you, I figured it out though. Luckily, I now have a wireless router, so I'm fine!
