OT- Question about GBA cartridges...

Ok, you'll probably think I'm nuts for asking this question, but I am a collector when it comes to video games and I need to know if anyone has good knowledge about game cartridges. I change GBA cartridges often on my Game Boy Player, and I do take very good care of my games. However, will constantly inserting or removing GBA cartridges into and out of Game Boy Player eventually wear out the GBA cartridge pin or the Game Boy Player's connector pin? I want my game collection to last 'till the day I die and I'm worried that constantly changing cartridges will wear them out eventually. If anyone knows the answer to this please post.
