It's by one of my favourite artists: Johnny Clegg, a white Southafrican who formed the first racially mixed South African band, Juluka, with Zulu musician Sipho Mchunu. He became very successful world-wide in the late 1980s (especially in France). He won a Grammy later in the 1990s. Their song "Asimbonanga" calls for Mandela's release from prison. There's a wonderful performance at a concert in Frankfurt where Mandela joins him on stage:

The women who's dancing with Mandela in the above video is Mandisa Dlango and she's also the one singing Johnny Clegg's song "Manqoba" that plays during the end credits
