Noel, or Trueman, or Max, or Sam

I liked Sam the best. I also liked Noel. I wished Casey dated Noel him. I thought that Casey and Noel had the best chemistry together. I also thought that Sam and Casey also had great Chemistry. I think Casey and Sam , Casey and Noel is a tie. I loved them both, even though she never dated Noel. I would have been happy if she dated Sam again. I don't like her with Trueman. There is nothing there.

I couldn't agree more! Sam and Noel are the best guys and Truman just plain sucks.

Hi again. I keep responding to your comments, but you make such good ones.

Anyway, I agree that Sam and Noel were the best relationships/potential relationships for Casey. With that said, I didn't hate Max, as he was sweet to Casey and really didn't know that he was changing her until it became too much for her to take.
As for Truman, I really don't hate him either, BUT I do admit that the writers took too long to redeem his character, leaving only one episode left in the series, to supposedly warm up to him as a good guy.

Okay, I must be crazy or brainwashed or taking drugs..but I think Truman is the best out of the four. I like Sam, too, but I have so much fun loving and hating Truman.

(Don't kill me! I'd really like it if I can just state my opinion without having people shoving things down my throat. Not that that ever happened, but I know a lot of people hate Truman.)

I actually liked Truman in the graduation episode. He was less of an *beep* and made me laugh a couple times. When he was sang koombya or whatever he did to calm Casey down before her speech, I couldn't help but kind of love him for a second there. I couldn't believe Casey's response. "It makes me want to rip your face off." Seriously?? After all that he's done to you, THAT set you off? Wow, Casey's bipolar.

Anyways.. Back to the topic. Most people here know my opinion on the best guy for Casey.. But realistically, and out of those on this list, I think Casey should have ended up with Sam. He was my favorite canon boyfriend of hers. Max and Truman were disasters and show ruiners, and Noel.. Well, he'd be my third choice.

This experience reminds me of a clock that just wont tick

What I loved about Sam was that during the whole first season, they kept flirting with each other and it was so obvious that they liked each other. It was a couple that you kept rooting for and when it happened, you were happy. And after they broke up, I thought at the end of the show they would realise that their feelings for each other were still there and they would reunite.

Second is Noel, although he never actually became a boyfriend. He was sweet, he had a lot in common with Casey (singing, poetry) and I thought Casey liked him too, but it turns out his feelings weren't returned.

Third is Max. I actually did like him until the last episode of season 3. Of course when they officially broke up, I was sad, since he was pretty sweet and they had a pretty long relationship.

I don't totally hate Truman, but I hate his list. I suppose he was okay, but I would rather she end up with one of the guys above.

Overall, Sam is my favorite.

Sam, Noel, and Max tie for first.

I'd rather forget totally about Truman. I'd put Ralph before Truman. I think his storyline was a very wrong message to send to girls.

I can't see Sam enduring Casey's insecurities for long. They worked better as friends. It would have been nice to see him with a steady girlfriend. Ralph and Amanda were great.

Max was sweet and worked, and I don't know it for sure, but it feels like he left because the Actor got that gig on that new show and they just wrote him out.

Noel was perfect for Casey and I thought from "Show Off Tune" they'd end up together eventually. And am upset they didn't at least date for a while.

Truman just... felt rammed down our throats by the writers. Noel felt more real and organic. A few more (or a lot more) episodes to make him more likable and redeem himself and I might have changed my mind about Truman, but I doubt it.

If I had to choose my favorite that worked the best with Casey, it would be Noel.

Sam was a good first boyfriend, and I thought their relationship should have lasted a bit longer and gone through some actual ups and downs before their split.

Her relationship with Max was pretty shallow, and it went on for way too long. It was a learning experience for her and overall one of her more successful plots, as she tries to figure out who she is and how relationships define her.

Noel - WTF was that writers? Why tease Casey having a guy who has similar interests (but isn't quite her usual clean cut type) and not follow through? They even teased Noel being Casey's back up prom date and didn't even show him!

Truman... I'm not sure what the point of his character was for Casey, outside of making her seem desperate - even Ralph thought that it was bs. It would have been better for Casey to end the series alone than to date someone that obnoxious. I was hoping that Casey would've dumped Max within an episode for Noel, but that didn't happen.
