after this film came out at sundance two years ago, i contacted the production company directly to get my copy. to my surprise, it was sent to me by the director himself! (it's his email address on the "WBS" website URL mentioned previously.) this film is well worth the $20 or so it costs--enjoy =)

Was it on a DVD-R or on a factory-made silver-colored DVD? Peace.

$20? That's outrageous. It's barely 20 minutes long! I really wanna see it, but if it means getting ripped off, forget about it.

Actually, it is available for download through itunes for $1.99. I downloaded it yesterday and laughed my head off

Programs purchased from iTunes cannot be watched on television—except with the upcoming Apple TV—or burned to DVD. They can, however, be watched on a video iPod or on your computer with QuickTime or with iTunes. Peace.

It's also the disk called the The 2006 Academy Award Short Films Collection.

Amazon.com has it listed for $20.98, Best Buy is selling it for $24.99. I know Blockbuster had it at one point, and you can still rent it through Netflix.

Buy the entire disk, not just Westbank Story. You get a little more bang for you buck. Plus this DVD includes the gem called The Danish Poet and a few other priceless gems.
