I've seen Armando Valdez-Kennedy, who voices Nines, in a couple of other things (Six Feet Under and Sliders), and honestly I think he would be the best choice for the film version of Nines.

Many interesting suggestions posted here. Good suggestions in fact, with actors with the right looks for it. But somehow I'm not quite satisfied with the female line ups.

Drew barrymore as VV? huh??? Well, shes definately gotta be deep voiced, sultry seductress.
Mena Suvari didnt quite look the part for damsel either. Too sweet looking. Probably someone more like avril lavinge.

Lucy Liu for Ming Xiao. Not that I don't love Michelle Yeoh, just that she looks too wise and nice. Lucy looks more the part. Oh...probably Bai Ling too.

And erm...La Croix should be pretty boy. Who's pretty enough eh? Leonardo?

Kris Kristoffersen ist sadly too old for acting a vampire, otherwise he would be a cool choice.

Jennifer Tilly is both too old and not attractive enough for V.V.

Amy Smart is IMHO not the right type of attractive for Jeanette/Therese. I would say she'd be great for Damsel, albeit I wonder if she would like to play such an angry person.

Mena Suvari is a great choice for an Aerie if anyone would want to make a movie out of Baldur's Gate 2, but for Damsel she's wrong on all levels.

Here's my suggestions!

Sebastian LaCroix: Ewan McGregor (he's a cracking actor, but has never really been given the chance to go evil. I think he'd be great at it.)

Smiling Jack: Gary Oldman (again, everyone'll be thinking 'why the hell?', but I think he has it in him)

Nines Rodriguez: Christian Bale (so many British guys! But I think he's got the charisma for it)

Gary Golden: Benicio del Toro (every time i hear Gary speak I just think of Benicio, I think he's made for the part)

Maximillian Strauss: Michael Crawford (he has that high-class formality, with little twinklings of charm that I think would make Strauss more interesting)

Isaac: Jeremy Irons (Needs no explaination)

Vandal: Mackenzie Crook (I know Vandal looked much less emaciated, but I think he has that leering nastiness)

Damsel: Avril Lavigne (got this idea from a previous post; annoying, never shuts up...and would look hot with red hair and fangs :D)

Skelter: Laurence Fishbourne (Dunno why, it just...works!)

Mercurio: Paul Bettany (Again, this was like Gary, ever since I first saw Mercurio he was Paul Bettany)
