Quentin Tarantino presents...WHAT??

I'm holding the german DVD in my hands and on top of the cover it reads "Quentin Tarantino präsentiert" (=presents)

Now QT's name has been connected with some garabge and near-garbage over the last years - You can't walk through a DVD shop without running into his name 2-3 times over here in Germany/Austria - but this really tops it. From what I've read on here this is a bad, cheap indie flick.

Now before I return this DVD to my local retailer, can anybody tell me if there is ANY connection between QT and this movie? It's most likely just a cheap marketing scheme, but maybe he wanted to support an indie friend of his or something.
