for this price you get a film that looks like a video. you also get awful sound quality with lots of hissing. when they played CD quality music, you could hear what good quality sound is.
those are my problems. it's not really a feature film if it looks like a $3000 video camera shot it. at least not a good one.
so technically it was poor.
as for the story, it was enjoyable. nothing that will blow you away.
yeah i thought so too.The settings looked the same almost all the time .it was like i was watching film from the 70`s (no offense) , or like it was taped with home camera.i really don`t like it ,the storyline sucked ,Katherin was the only thing in the film that was good- but not good enough for me to watch the whole movie.
looks like a ... student movie. sorry fellas. a better DoP would have done wonders. align the frame, rule of thirds... consistancy. and "real" graphics at the beginning of the film and end. titling?
sorry, not trying to be insulting.. spending more time on "proper" promotion would do wonders for this film - its a good film! its long, its got better acting than most, etc.
but so many indies don't do quid quo pro for a cheap, yet professional graphics artist, motion graphics, etc etc.
Seriously. I see too many films indie films with multi-thousand dollar budgets, and yet, have a home made poster made by Billy 14 year old next door.
"A recent study in Great Britain has shown a direct relation between design and business success.
The Design Council, an organization funded by the UK Department of Trade and Industry, released research findings this month.
Sixty-three public companies were tracked over a ten-year period (1994-2003). A broad range of design awards were used to select companies. Design Council experts also made nominations with no detailed knowledge of previous stock performance.
The results? Over the decade, through markets bull and bear, design-intelligent companies beat the UK FTSE 100 index by 200%. (The FTSE follows the 100 largest companies on the London Stock Exchange. It is the British Dow Jones or S&P.)
Research findings are available for download at www.designcouncil.org.uk under Bullish by Design."
but that came more from the long long long long long shots of unneeded stuff. did it take 3 minutes of film to let us know that she was not home and he was stood up? apparently, the answer was yes.
