Having worked in the pharmaceutical industry...


this film was very relevant for me. Particularly the scenes related to the training that reps receive. They are so scripted and after all the *beep* they never forget to remind you that "You are saving lives". Which always made me laugh, because in my previous job I had been a Clinical Nurse Consultant in Cardiology and I REALLY did save lives in that job.

It has to be taken for what it was - a low budget movie - but it still had an important story to tell. Do you think its coincidental that the drug they were launching in the movie sounded very much like Vioxx?

My big question is how did they get Katherine Heigl for this movie? Full kudos to her for doing it and probably at a pittance.
