Salton City, CA: A great reason to NEVER believe Realtors!

I found a great poster from 1951 while browsing online.

The address at the base of the poster was in Beverly Hills.... a Real Estate Broker office.

The poster had a great "artist conception" sketch of all the great things that Salton City, CA , would become.

And... "you may have missed previous investment opportunities, but you don't have to miss this one!"

Realtors.... extremely talented at a smile..... and extracting your cash from your accounts.

If you don't understand this post, just watch the film..... and consider your family lucky if they had never "invested" in real estate there.

As it now been 12years since the small time realtors in this movie buying up lots after each death, how are they holding up? anyone know if they folded and got out of dodge?

I love how all the welfare people moved thete because there are no jobs.

In this documentary there was a man who will still buying up cheap property at that time. He was convinced that the good times were going to come back and he would be able to sell at a huge profit.
