Stupid Terrible Movie

Twisting reality around.. suspension of disbelief. or whatever. Verisimilitude.. This movie was terrible. A page right out of "Magical Thinking" meets new age crap.

I mean come on folks. Terrible movie.

Who in their right mind would GREEN LIGHT such a steaming pile of poo?

And then to find out the director likes BJs? Sheesh!

Run Forest Run!!

I suppose Jurassic Park, The Matrix, Back to the Future, Encino Man, A Goofy Movie lol, Dogma, Scream, Beerfest, Half baked, Star Wars... are pretty stupid too because they are all part of magical thinking too, even Forest Gump, Batman, Toy Story, and Passion of the Christ! (I could really add a huge list full, but I just wanted to list some favorites the population might like)

I'm assuming you just watch non-bias factually based documentaries- a true source of NON-"Magical Thinking".

I think you really missed out on the value of escapism, and artistic and entertainment value(s).

I had myself thinking "hrm, when is the montage gonna come?" for a good chunk of the movie.

I think there were very good quotes and lessons in this movie, which many people may have already heard, but hardly anyone actually computes. It doesn't help that this movie was horrible in pretty much every way. The acting was bad, the characters boring and cliche, and the cheesiness factor was through the roof.

I think they had good ideas, but threw them into the worst movie i've seen in a while. I'm interested in the book now, though. Hopefully that will make me feel better about sitting through this crap.

I think a lot of the people who end up thinking this movie is uber inspirational, are the people who are yet to wake up to their journey of expanding and truly realizing their consciousness. Pretty much your every day Joe. Maybe if people actually are inspired to look into these ideas further, this movie will have served SOME purpose.

This was a maudlin and by-the-numbers rehash of a dozen other films. Apparently this was based on a self-help book, and should have stayed in that medium, because its "message" doesn't translate into a good film.
