I agree. I'm a big fan of Chad Lindberg, and I thought his role was amazing. All the actors were really good at making you understand their roles, and Dave Rodriguez is great, I hope to see more of his stuff. He was very good by pulling into the atmosphere of the movie with the way he moved with the camera and how the atmosphere of the scene effected the camera and how it was (example: how in the scene near the beginning in the office and everything was all hectic, the camera was all hectic with it, etc).

Sorry... I'm kind of a loser when it comes to movies, I notice the little unimportant things. :)

The Director of Photography is the one that controls the camera. Don't forget :-)

Ms. Itzafilmprincess, I saw the comment you're responding to and I found a quote that you should NOT FORGET. It basically implies that everyone on the set of a feature film is following the direction of one person, The Director.

"In feature films the director is God; in documentary films God is the director." Alfred Hitchcock ;-)

With Push, the Director of Photography was involved with every visual aspect of the film. I personally know the Director of Photography and have worked with him (See "Susannah" and "Spark"). The reason Hitchcock was known as a dictator on his sets was because of this mentality. In this day in age any Director who proclaims himself God, which Dave Rodriguez certainly does not, would be considered by anyone in the industry self righteous and obnoxious. James Cameron made a joke when accepting his academy award by quoting his own movie saying that he was "king of the world" and no one thought it was funny. He was kidding, of course. Can you imagine if someone else said they were God?
